A well-deserved recognition by the Umbrian company, which is committed to the continuous search for innovative food products in the name of quality and sustainability.
The award dedicated to Italian innovation was presented in Milan on March 15, 2018, to Mario Cucchia, CEO of Molini Spigadoro. It was awarded by a representative panel of the Italian population, ages 15-65. Consumers were surveyed with a questionnaire to choose the most valuable products for innovation and satisfaction. And for both judging criteria the two lines of Molini Spigadoro voted with the highest score.
The Umbrian company-owned by the Zeppadoro family-is among the leaders in the milling industry. A virtuous example of Made in Italy food, for its attention to sustainability and continuous investment in research and development.
Award-winning products
Mix Flours are unique in the market. These are blends made from type 1 or type 2 flours (thus low in refinement, compared with 00 and 0 flours) with natural improvers, such as wheat germ and malted wheat flour.
The range of Mixes includes:
– 7 blends developed for specific uses (Ancient Bread, 7 Grains, Pizza and Focaccia, Soft Cake, Pastry, Fresh Pasta, Manitoba),
– 4 organic variants (PaneBIO, Pizza and focacciaBIO, DolceBio and ManitobaBio),
